As you cast the spell, you draw a 10-foot-diameter circle on the floor of a lead-lined vault inscribed with sigils that designate your location as a place of business. For 24 hours, only creatures designated by you may enter the vault by non-magical means. Any creature not designated by the caster that attempts to enter or leave the vault must succeed on a Strength saving throw when passing through the doorway or be trapped on their current side of the doorway and incapacitated for 1 minute (use the original spellcaster's spell save DC). If the door successfully prevents a creature from entry or exit, you are made aware as though an alarm spell had been triggered, regardless of distance. If you are on a different plane of existence, you do not benefit from the alarm effect. Any precious metals or gems inside the vault are pulled to the center of the sigil circle as though by gravity. Any creature within the walls of a vault under the effects of this spell that comes into contact with a non-magical item is instantly aware of that item's value in gold pieces.
Many major corporations, guilds, and other important places of business have permanent voracious vaults somewhere within their confines. Each such vault includes a unique sigil sequence--a string of magical runes arranged in a particular pattern. You can commit a new sigil sequence to memory after studying it for 1 minute.
You can create a permanent voracious vault by casting this spell in the same vault every business day for one year, though it needn't be the same spellcaster every time. The spell and any area under its effect are still under your control, regardless of any other spellcasters who have stood in for you.
If this spell is cast at 8th level or higher, a non-designated creature cannot enter the vault by any means short of a spell cast at 8th level. The alarm effect also alerts you on alternate planes of existence as well.
