Target one creature that you can see within 60'; the creature rises vertically at a rate of 20' per round for 1 minute. The spell can levitate a creature that weighs up to 500 pounds; a creature weighing more than 500 pounds is unaffected. A creature that succeeds on a Constitution saving throw is unaffected.

The affected creature can halt its assent by gripping a securely fixed object (such as tree limb, wall-mounted torch bracket, etc. if such an object is available) on a successful DC 10 dexterity saving throw; an ally of the creature that is within 10 feet and whose weight when added to the target creature exceeds the spell's maximum weight can use it's action to grab the affected creature (DC 10 Acrobatics check), but in either case, gravity remains reversed for the target creature for 1 minute. (If the ally releases its grip without securing the target creature, the target creature resumes its assent for the duration; if the ally's weight when added to that of the target creature does not exceed 500 pounds, the ally will levitate with the target creature until it releases its grip--it can release its grip as a reaction to being pulled from its feet.)

When the spell ends, the target creature is again subject to normal gravity. (Falling creatures take 1d6 bludgeoning damage per 10 feet of altitude, ending prone.)

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each spell level above 3rd level.
