You point your finger to a point you can see within range. A star appears at the location. The area the star occupies is heavily obscured, and a strong astral force pulls creatures towards it's center.
When a creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, the creature is pulled to the point at which the star first appeared and its speed is reduced to 0 until the start of its next turn. If that space is occupied, the creature is pulled to the closest point it can fit in.
When the spell ends, either because your concentration is broken or because you decide to end it, the star explodes, pulling in others to its center. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw or take force damage equal to the accumulated damage and are pulled towards the spell's origin on a failed save. On a success, creatures take half damage and aren't pulled in.
The spell's base damage is 3d10, and the base area of effect is a 5-foot radius sphere. At the start of each of your turns, as long as you maintain concentration on this spell, the star grows in size and power, increasing the damage by 1d10 and the area of effect by an additional 5-foot radius.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the base damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 7th.
