As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a melee attack with a weapon against one creature within the spell’s range, otherwise the spell fails. On a hit, the target suffers the attack’s normal effects, and it becomes covered in vines until the start of your next turn. If the target willingly tries to attack before then they have disadvantage on their next attack.
This spell allows you to swing with a flurry of blows higher levels. At 5th level, you may make two attacks with this spell. The number of attacks increase by an additional one at 11th level and 17th level. The on hit effect stacks with itself.
