Blade of Song

Singing a high note, you summon an ethereal blade into your hand and keep this weapon for the duration. This weapon emits a soft hum and extends the range of spells involving only Verbal components for you by 10 feet. Use a melee spell attack to hit a creature with this weapon, as a result they take 3d6 force damage. This spell cannot cause damage if in an area under the effects of a Silence spell or similar.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for every two slot levels above 2nd.
