Blasting Ray

Holding out your hands you create a red hot beam of light that bursts out in a 60 feet long and 5 feet wide line from you in a direction you choose. 

Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 4d8 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Additionally the end of the beam explodes in a 15 foot radius. Each creature in the radius must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 8d8 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage of the explosion increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 5th.
