Vines, resembling rose-bush thorns, made out of ice will sprout from the ground beneath you, if the ground is within range of you. 5 of these vines will sprout forth, and you can choose which target each of the vines shall try to attack, or if multiple should attack the same. For each, make an spell attack roll, dealing 1d12 Cold damage on a hit.
Once hit, the target must make a Constitution saving throw, where the target will not be able to move on their next turn on a failed save, where nothing happens on a successful one.
As long you know where the target is within the range, even if you cannot see the target, you do not gain disadvantage on the spell attack rolls.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, one additional vine sprouts from the ground.
