Two ephemeral wolves made of hail and wind appear at your feet in spaces within 5 ft. of you. Each wolf has one hit point and an AC of 5. They do not have their own turns and only act when you command them to. You can order them to attack a creature that you can see within 30 ft. as a bonus action. Their attack bonus is equivalent to your spell attack modifier, and each of the wolves make their own attacks. They deal 2d8 cold damage on a hit, and return back to your feet after attacking.

As a reaction to being hit, before damage is rolled, you can sacrifice one of your wolves to protect yourself. That wolf disappears after being struck and reduces damage dealt to you by 20.
