Permanency

A spell effect that you can see within range, produced by one of the following spells, is rendered permanent:

Cantrips:

• Light
• Minor Illusion

1st level spells:

• Alarm
• Grease

2nd level spells:

• Darkness
• Silence
• Web
• Zone of Truth

This spell's effects now last indefinitely or until dispelled by a spell of 4th level or higher. This requires an extreme amount of magic and is extremely taxing to the caster: it requires 4 ounces of aether per level of the spell and the caster gains 3 levels of exhaustion. The caster's spell save DC is also reduced by 2 per level of exhaustion sustained due to this to this spell.
