Crackling bolts of electricity arc throughout the spells area, dealing 6D8 lightning damage to all creatures in a 30-foot-radius. Any which have an unsuccessful Constitution saving throw (resistance grants advantage) are stunned for 1 round. Any creature within the area of effect or that enters the area must take another round of damage and roll another save on their turn.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th or higher level, you gain 2D8 lightning damage a round per level used.
