The caster designates one finger and points with it. A straight beam (cylinder) of sunlight of diameter 1.44 inches extends from the casters designated pointing finger until the beam encounters an object within the range of the spell. The sunlight remains as long as the caster is pointing that finger and the beam will move with the movement of the caster. If the caster no longer is pointing with the designated finger the spell effects end. The beam has the same effects as that of normal sunlight.

Casting this spell a second time removes any previously castings of this spell.
