Brand of Justice

You touch one willing creature that is not charmed or being magically compelled. Throughout the casting of the spell, you specify a course of action that the target agrees to undertake or not undertake. If the target of the spell willfully violates the agreement, you become aware of their violation. The target is then instantly subjected to one of the following effects, which you secretly choose at the time of casting:

• For one week after the Brand of Justice has been triggered, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw upon completing a long rest. Upon failure, they gain no benefit from the rest.
• The Brand burns. The target takes 3d8 psychic damage and must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or cry out in pain. The target's speed is then halved for one week or until they receive a Remove Curse spell.
• For one week, you know the distance and general direction of the target relative to yourself. This effect ends if the target is on another plane  of existence.
• The target immediately falls to the ground paralyzed and an audible ping is heard from the brand. After a number of rounds equal to your caster modifier, the target can attempt a Constitution saving throw at the end of their turn to end the effect.
