Arcane Vision

For the duration, you see an aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any. If a creature is perceived this way, you have advantage on attack rolls against it, and the creature cannot gain the benefit of hiding from you as long as it is not more than 30 feet away from you a or behind a barrier as described below:

The spell can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
