Until the end of your next turn you gain 2d6 temporary hit points and when a target deals damage to your temporary hit points they take dark damage equal to your spellcasting modifier. The spell ends early if you lose all temporary hit points or are incapacitated.
At higher levels you gain and additional 2d6 temporary hit points per spell slot level above 1st.
