Acid Jet

A line of acid 60 feet long and 10 feet wide emits from you and sprays up in the air and falls onto creatures in the area. Creatures caught in this line must make a dexterity saving throw against your spell save dc. On a failure they take 5d12 acid damage and are covered in acid. At the start of their turn they take an additional 1d12 acid damage or until they use an action to clear themselves of the acid. On a success, they take half as much and are not covered in acid.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 5th
