You lay your hand on your Companion and stimulate the body's natural healing, allowing it to roll 2 of its hit dice and recover health equal to the number rolled + Its Constitution Modifier (minimum 1). In addition, it gains 1d8 + your Wisdom Modifier in temporary hit points that last for 24 hours.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the number of hit dice increase by 1 and you roll an additional 1d8 temporary hit points for each slot level above 1st.
