Celestial Burst

"You don't often see this many shooting stars when you're a mile underground."

You shoot a comet of cosmic light at a creature or object within range.  Make a ranged spell attack against the target.  On a hit, the target takes 1d8 radiant damage.  If the target was an object, it takes no damage and instead emits a bright light in a 30 foot radius until the end of your next turn.  

This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
