Aschipu´s discriminating fate

Developed by Madame Jubilee Aschipu, this spell has been crafted by mixing the properties of the bane and shield spell in order to bend fate to one´s will.

One creature of your choice that you can see within range must make a wisdon saving throw. Whenever the target that fails this saving throw makes an attack roll or ability check, the target must roll a d4 and subtract the number rolled from the attack roll or ability check. They also take psychic damage equal to the rolled amount.

When cast successfully, the sound of a string being severed can be heard.

When used with a higher spell slot: For each level above first, one more D4 may be rolled to a maximum of nine D4 when using a ninth level spell.
