You conjure a whip of acid which appears in your off hand. This weapon functions as a whip that you have proficiency with. The whip is a magical weapon and does 2d8 additional acid damage on a hit.
Whenever you hit on an attack roll using this weapon against a target over 5 feet away, that target must succeed on a constitution saving throw or become incapacitated until the end of your turn.
As an action, you can crack the whip and force a number of the closest creatures within 30 ft. equal to your spell ability modifier to make a wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of your turn. If a creature fails it's save by 5 or more it is instead frightened until the end of it's next turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the slashing and acid damage dice both increase by one.
