You touch a creature that has died within the 10 minutes. That creature returns to life with the amount of hit points that you began casting the spell at. This spell can't return to life a creature that has died of old age, nor can it restore any missing body parts. In doing so the caster begins to die over the next minute and can not be restored by anything short of a wish spell.
