You, and up to 6 of other creatures of your choice, cut your palms with the silver blade used in casting this spell, taking 1d8 slashing damage. Until you cast this spell again, all creatures involved gain the following benefits:

• Resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons that aren't silvered.
• Immunity to being charmed or frightened while another target of this spell is within line of sight.
• When damage is done to one of the targets of this spell, another target who can see them can use their reaction to reduce the damage taken by half. The creature using their reaction takes the remaining damage.
