Alecto's Exigent Redistribution

Alecto's Exigent Redistribution transfers a forming pattern of vril from one creature to another. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an Attack roll or a Saving throw, this redistribution forces them to roll a d4 and subtract that number from their roll. You can cast the spell after the roll has been made, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails.

That pattern must be bestowed upon a creature within 60' of the target, who must also be visible to the caster. Within the next minute, after they make the same type of roll (Attack role or Saving throw) but before the result is announced, they may choose to add a d4 to it, after which the spell ends.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level, the redistribution increases to a d6. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the redistribution increases to a d8.
