When the caster completes this spell one of his arms (caster's choice) immediately grows in length to a maximum length of 10 foot/level of the caster. The caster needs to maintain concentration throughout the spell's duration (eg. when injured) or the arm immediately returns to normal length after one round. With the extended arm the caster cannot hold and use a weapon of any sort and so cannot fight with it, as the arm is too long and heavy. The arms slithers along the ground like a snake until it reaches its maximum length. This spell is particularly effective to, for example, snatch some keys from a sleeping jailor or perform some other form of pilfering action. Note that the arm has no eyes and must feel around if it extends beyond the caster's line of sight or around a corner etc...
If the end of the arm and his hand is seen by the caster he can attempt to wrap it around a creature or person with a neck who is sleeping, paralysed, held or otherwise incapacitated. The caster must continue to concentrate while attempting this strangulation - if the target is merely asleep there is a 75% chance that the neck wraps around its target effectively (otherwise it is 100% for a held, paralysed or incapacitated creature). The target must make a successful Strength saving throw against the caster's spell save DC to remove the crushing arm from around their neck. If this fails they must make a successful Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC (and take only 1-6 damage) or be strangled to death in two rounds unless somebody else intervenes to remove the arm.
