You perform an enhanced binding religious ceremony that is blessed by the gods themselves. When you cast this spell, choose one of the following bonds, the targets or targets of which must be within 10 feet of you throughout the ceremony
Bound by Bond. You touch up to ten willing creatures with an intelligence of at least 7. This may include you. As a reaction, a creature targeted by this spell can give another creature within 30 feet that was a target in the same spell a 1d4 on any ability check or saving throw. The creature cannot target themself and the bonus can only be given before the DM determines the outcome of the roll.
This bond is broken when a target willingly harms another target in some way or willingly and knowingly takes actions that puts one or more other targets in harm's way.
Bound by Blood. You touch two willing creatures other than yourself who both consider the other family in some way. One of the targets makes a promise to the other that they must uphold. If the promise is not upheld or if the creature making the promise decides to go against it, the creature receiving the promise immediately becomes aware. They are aware regardless of distance or planes, assuming the caster's god has some power on both planes.
This bond is broken permanently when one of the targets willingly harms the other in some way or when the promise is broken.
Bound by Love. You touch two other adult creatures with an Intelligence score of at least 7 that wish to bind themselves in each others' love. For the next 7 days, each target gains a +2 bonus to AC while they are within 30 feet of each other. After the 7 days, each target gains a +1 bonus to AC while they are within 30 feet of each other. A creature can share this bond with any number of creatures at the same time, but they can only benefit from the bonus to AC once.
This bond is permanently broken by one of the following conditions and can be broken separately by each target creature:
- A target creature dies.
- A target chooses to have the bond broken by a cleric or paladin of the same faith that originally cast it.
- A target willingly causes harm to another target.
- A target is willingly separated from another target for 90 consecutive days.
If this bond is broken, it can be reformed after 30 days.
Bound by Atonement. You touch one willing creature whose alignment is Evil and/or Chaotic and who wishes to atone for their prior evil actions. For the next 30 days, as long as the targets spends at least 4 hours each day taking actions to atone, at the end of the 30 days the target may change their alignment to a non-evil alignment. This does not automatically cause those the target has wronged to forgive them, nor does the spell require forgiveness from wronged creatures. If an undead creature with an intelligence of at least 10 is targeted by this spell, the creature may choose to lose it's undead form. It immediately turns back into it's original race at it's current age. If that age would kill the creature, it dies.
This bond is broken if the creature succumbs willingly to their former evil ways. If this occurs, with DM's discretion, the creature immediately reverts back to its former alignment and dies. Nothing short of a Wish spell is able to bring the creature back to life.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you gain access to the following additional option, which adds 100gp worth of powdered diamonds, which the spell consumes, to the material cost of this spell.
Bound by Death. You touch a corpse that had died within the last week. The target cannot become undead by any means short of a wish spell and spells with effects similar to speak with dead have no effect. You become aware of all the creatures actions and words within the last 3 days and the true intent and meaning behind those words and actions. You also become aware of what the creature considers to be their greatest accomplishment and their greatest regret, and you learn why they feel the memories to be their greatest accomplishments and greatest regret.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you gain access to the following additional option, which adds 100gp worth of powdered diamonds, which the spell consumes, and a solid gold holy symbol of a god willing to take the target creature on as a cleric or paladin worth at least 250gp.
Bound by Dedication. You touch one creature wishing to be dedicated to the service of a god. This spell automatically succeeds if you serve the same god the target wishes to serve, otherwise the creature must roll 1d20. On a 1, the spell fails and the materials are consumed, otherwise, the if the target is a creature without class levels, they immediately gain a level in either the Cleric or Paladin class. This does not require the creature to meet the multi class requirements for the chosen class. If the creature has class levels, they may choose to take a level in the Cleric or Paladin class upon gaining their next level. This requires the creature to meet the multi class requirements for the chosen class.
* - (100gp worth of powdered silver, which the spell consumes)
