Arcane Reflection

When a harmful spell is casted on you, or a friendly creature within 30 feet of you, you can spend your reaction to create a semi-transparent bubble over yourself, or the creature. When this is done, the damage done by the spell is halved, and the attacker takes half of the spell's damage.

This spell can be used to stop cantrips, but the attacker will not take any damage, and spells whose level is higher than that of the spell slot that you have used to cast this spell. For example, if an attacker casts a fireball, and you cast this spell with a second, or a first level spell slot, the spell has no effect. If a higher level spell slot is used, there are no added benefits. If fireball were to be casted against you with a fourth level spell slot, a fourth level spell slot would need to be expended with this spell to negate the damage.
