You reach into a creature's mind within range, bending their thoughts to your will. A target must succeed a wisdom saving throw or be incapacitated for the duration of the spell. Whilst incapacitated in this way, you can read the creature's mind without resistance.
View Memory: You may access any memory the creature has, even one it has forgotten, with perfect clarity. You view these memories from the perspective of the target. This can be done an unlimited number of times during the duration of the spell, within its time constraints.
In addition, you may also choose to impose one of the following special actions:
Evoke Bliss: You delve into the target's memories and flood their mind with images of their happiest memories and most blissful dreams (you may also view these memories if you so wish). When the spell finishes, the target is extraordinarily happy. For the next 1d4 hours, the target may choose to add an additional 1d6 to an attack roll, ability check or saving throw they make. They may add this extra die a number of times equal to your spell casting ability modifier.
Evoke Nightmare: You delve into the target's memories and flood their mind with images of their worst nightmares and most psychologically scarring memories (you may also view these memories if you wish). When the spell finishes, the target is under the frightened condition and their speed is reduced to zero, their mind haunted by what they've seen. They remain this way for 1d4 hours.
Violate Thoughts: You call to the forefront a storm of memories within the target at near impossible speeds. When the spell finishes, the target is overcome by muddled thoughts as if affected by the confusion spell for the next 1d4 hours.
You may only affect a target with one of these additional affects per casting of this spell.
If the target takes any damage, the spell ends.
If the spell ends early for any reason (other than you choosing to end the spell), you and the target each take 3d6 psychic damage as the link between your mind is severed.
