Arcane Analysis

You begin magically analyzing an object of small size or smaller. This gives you all physical information about this, but will not reveal any magical information, such as a magic items properties. When you are done, the DM might give you an appropriate Investigation check, based on how complex the analyzed object is. If you succeed you understand how to use it and gains all relevant information about the objects physical form. 

If you succeed the Investigation check by 10 or more, you learn how to recreate the object. If it is a magic item, you will learn to recreate it without its magical properties. 

All information you obtain with this spell, will automatically be written down in a book or scroll of your choice.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 3rd-level spell slot, the maximum size of the object increases to Medium. When you cast this spell using a 4th-level spell slot the maximum size increases to large. When you cast this spell using a 5th-level spell slot, the maximum size increases to Huge and when you cast this spell using a 6th-level spell slot, the maximum size increases to Gargantuan.
