A wonderous item appears either in your hand, next to you, or on a coat rack that disappears as you take off the item (depending on the item's type).
Roll a d20 and consult the following chart for the rarity of the object you create.
1-10 = Uncommon
11-20 = Rare
After you roll, a fey-like ethereal monster tells you what rarity it is, and you must tell it what wonderous item you would like.
After you cast this spell, you can cast it until you expend all 4 points it has. If you expend all your points, you must finish a long rest and after you do, restore 1d4 points to the spell.
At Higher Levels. You roll another d20 for each higher slot you insert this spell into, and therefore get multiple items.

Posted Jan 10, 2021Aye, interesting. Though, I don’t know what the why ‘tis 9th level—I find that a tad excessive despite being a free wonderful item—nor do I understand the whole thing with the “After you cast this spell, you can cast it until you expend all 4 points it has...” because there was no prior mentioning of Any point system.

Posted Jan 7, 2022And you just keep these items? So, you could just quit adventuring and open up a weapons and baubles shop and sell all of these wonderous items you get off fake coat racks every day? Why?
What is the point of this?

Posted Jul 6, 2022A: This spell is uses a 9th level spell slot so only a 17th level sorcerer, druid, or wizard could use it (I don't have the Eberron book so I'm not sure about artificer)
B: A full party of druids, sorcerers, and wizards could spam it at 17th level and then long rest to farm infinite magic items to extremely overpowered
C: The at higher levels bit is redundant because the spell is 9th level already and the spell doesn't contain any conditions to make it higher level.

Posted Jan 12, 2024Paladins, Rangers, Artificers, Eldritch Knights, Arcane Tricksters, and Profane Soul Blood Hunters all never get 9th level spells.

Posted Sep 19, 2025Upcasting a 9th level spell? I'm pretty sure Mystra wouldn't like that...

Posted Sep 19, 2025The previous version was 6th level. And I think they realized that it was way too strong so they made it 9th level but forgot to remove the upcasting part.

Posted Jan 31, 2026Uncommon or Rare? how about Legendary or Artifact, because by the time anyone gets this spell, Rare becomes Common
