You touch a nonmagical object and receive a detailed impression of how it was put together. For this particular spell to take hold, the object must be a device with fine mechanical detail, such as moving parts. For the duration, you have advantage on any roll needed to repair or disassemble the object, and for the next hour, you have advantage on any roll needed to reproduce a set of schematics for the device. If the object is a lock of some description, you have advantage on any check made to pick it.
As the wealth of information becomes greater, there is a cumulative 25% chance that each additional casting of the spell past the first will fail, if cast on the same object. This effect lasts until you finish a long rest.
