You create a mnemonic device called a mind palace in your memory. This exists only in your mind and may manifest as a personal illusion that only you can see (such as a book, a room, a deck of cards, or other objects the player chooses).

When you cast the spell may commit the following memories

  • 20 sentences a player chooses
  • A mental image
  • A map you can see
  • Your current surroundings that you can visually see
  • The previous 2 minutes of conversation, without visual information

Alternately, when you case the spell, you may access memories from the mind palace. You may access any memory stored in the mind palace with perfect clarity. When you access the mind palace, you have disadvantage on perception checks and have a passive perception of 5 until the start of your next turn. If you cast an illusion in the same round as Mind Palace, you may recreate that memory with perfect clarity.

You may not store spells or any class features in the mind palace. With this spell, you may store the equivalent of 200 memories per INT modifier (200 minimum).

(Note: It is up to the player to store this information and not spring conversation or map memory on the DM)

Available For: Bard (Legacy) Sorcerer (Legacy) Warlock (Legacy) Wizard (Legacy) Fighter (Legacy) - Eldritch Knight (Legacy) Rogue (Legacy) - Arcane Trickster (Legacy)
