Bloated Corpse

This spell creates a single bloated corpse. Choose a corpse of a Medium or Small humanoid within range. Your spell rapidly decreases the time it takes for the corpse to fill with gas, turning it noxious at the same time, and raises it as a bloated husk bomb. 

On each of your turns, you can use a bonus action to mentally command the bloated corpse if it is within 40 feet of you. You use your bonus action either to move the creature 10ft or to command it to explode in a 5ft radius, targeting multiple people. Whether or not it affects allies is at the DM's discretion. If you issue no commands, the bloated corpse will stay where it is. Please note that it is not capable of attacking or defending.

The bloated corpse has 8 hit points. If destroyed then the magic used to create it will fail and it will deflate with no effect. Exploding the corpse deals 1d8 damage and the target will have to roll a constitution saving throw. If the target fails the throw it will receive 1d4 poison damage and will become poisoned.

The husk is under your control for 4 rounds, after which it will explode in its current position.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level, the bloated corpse can move 15ft, has 10 hit points, deals 2d10 damage, and constitution saving throw fails receive 1d8 poison damage. Using a spell slot at 10th level or higher, the bloated corpse' duration increases to 5 rounds, can move 20 ft, has 12 hit points, deals 3d10 damage, and constitution saving throw fails receive 1d10 poison damage.
