This spell summons a sphere of crushing force or repulsing energy. Choose a point within range. Each creature and object in a 30-foot-radius sphere is affected, based on which effect you pick. Choose compression or expulsion as the sphere's effect.
Compression. The evocation causes all creatures and objects within the spell's area to be pulled towards the center of the sphere. When a creature enters the spell's area for the first time or starts its turn there, that creature must make must a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 10d6 force damage and is pulled in a straight line to the nearest unoccupied space to the center of the sphere. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and is not pulled. If a creature occupies the center of the sphere, it has a speed of 0.
Expulsion. The evocation causes all creatures and objects within the spell's area to be push to the outside of the sphere. When a creature enters the sphere for the first time or starts its turn there, that creature must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is pushed to the nearest unoccupied space outside of the sphere. On a successful save, a creature takes 5d6 force damage. If a creature occupies the center of the sphere, they are immune to the effects of this spell.
If multiple compression/expulsion spells overlap, the effects of both spells are suppressed in the area of overlap.
* - (either a piece of sedimentary rock for the compression effect or a handful of loose gravel for the expulsion effect)
