You whisper honeyed words into an enemy's mind, coercing it into betraying its allies and fighting for you. Choose one humanoid creature within range who shares at least one language with you. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. Creatures who are immune to being Charmed automatically succeed this save. On a failure, the creature is Charmed by you for the duration of the spell. While charmed, it regards any allies it had as its mortal enemies, and will attack the closest former ally with reckless abandon. At the end of the charmed creature's turn, or whenever it takes damage, it may repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can target an additional creature within range for each slot level above 3rd.
