You touch a creature within your range and bestow upon it a magical enhancement that either enhances or diminishes the target's five senses. Choose one of the following effects; the target gains that effect until the spell ends. If the creature is unwilling, make a melee spell attack against them. On a hit, the desired enchantment is placed on them for the duration of the spell. Constructs are immune to the effects of this spell.
Enhance. The target's senses become flooded with stimuli. They have advantage on Wisdom (perception) checks based on scent, hearing, sight, taste, and touch. The target is able to feel the slightest tremors, vibrations, and changes in wind and temperature. If the target has darkvision, they are able to see for an additional 10 feet beyond their normal perception. The target has advantage on Intelligence (investigation) checks when examining an object or when using thieves' tools/tinker's tools. The target also has tremorsense out to a range of 5 feet for the duration of the spell.
Diminish. The target's senses become numb and fuzzy. They have disadvantage on Wisdom (perception) checks based on scent, hearing, sight, taste, and touch. If the target has darkvision, it is reduced by 10 feet for the duration of the spell. The target's appendages feel numb and awkward, and they have disadvantage when using tools. As the target's nerves are numbed, they are less likely to feel the effects of pain or disease and can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to Constitution checks and saving throws for the duration of the spell.
