The magi summons a creature, from another plane of existence. By invoking the desired creature's true name, the magi summons a fiend, fey, celestial, undead or aberration.
The caster need to know the true name of the creature they wish to summon, otherwise the spell fails automatically. When the ritual ends, the creature emerges and must make a Wisdom saving throw or be controlled by the caster until their concentration ends. This cannot summon deities, but can summon warlock patrons, although patrons get advantage on the save. The creature must be of CR 35 or lower, or it will succeed on the save automatically.
When you finish this spell, you gain five levels of exhaustion, and is unconscious the next 8 hours.
If the creature succeeds it is hostile towards you, and will try to murder or torture you depending on its alignment.
This a 10th level spell, and cannot be cast normally.
