You touch the body of a humanoid that is no bigger than large in size, and that has been dead for no more than 100 years. Necromantic energy seeps forth enveloping the target, transforming them into an undead thrall. The thrall is undead, and retains all the statistics of the target creature, but it Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores are each reduced by 2.
If the thrall's alignment was good it shifts to neutral, and if its alignment was lawful it likewise shifts to neutral. The thrall's personality is retained, although its memories of its life become hazy and difficult if not impossible to recall.
The thrall is compelled to obey your spoken commands, moving and acting in accordance with your wishes and acting after your turn in combat. It cannot willingly attack you or any creatures that you designate.
If the thrall is damaged, you can restore it using necromancy. By expending a level 1 spell slot you can heal the thrall for 1d10 + your spellcasting modifier, by expending a higher level spell slot you can increase the healing by 1d10 per spell level.
You can have as many thralls as equal to your spellcasting modifier and your proficiency bonus.
