Dissolve

One target creature that you touch as part of making this attack makes a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC, dealing 3d10 necrotic damage on a failed save. If this damage brings the target to 0 hit points, then the target instantly dies as it dissolves into sludge, leaving anything it wore and carried on the ground in the space it occupied. A target that passes the save receives half damage, and no other effect. 

At Higher Levels. If you use a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each spell slot above 3rd level.
