A magical barrier surrounds your body and grants you a temporary respite from attacks and damage.

The Barrier cannot be dispelled once the incantation is complete. The barrier has 50 hit points and all damage types except psychic  is reduced by half when the shield is attacked. The Barrier grants advantage on all dexterity and strength saves the caster must make. 

When cast at a spell level over 4th, the barrier gains 25 extra hit points for every level higher than 4th.
