This spell magically enchants gaming dice. The spell's effects are two fold. Firstly it grants proficiency with gaming dice for the duration of the spell. If you already have proficiency it grants expertise. Also, once during the duration of the spell, you can add 1d4 to a dice roll during gaming. This could include ability rolls (e.g. perception to detect cheating, or deception to bluff) or to add to a dice roll during a dice game.
At higher levels an extra bonus dice is granted per spell slot above the first, which can be used on separate rolls. You may also re-roll a certain number dice (level of spell slot that you expended minus one).
The spell only effects sets of dice, although it is rumored that a version of this spell exists which also effects playing cards.
