Apep's Blazing Blade

You conjure a blade of crystalized flame in your free hand. The blade takes the shape of a rapier, and it lasts for the duration. If you let go of the blade or are disarmed of it, the blade shatters, but you can summon it again as a bonus action.

You can use your action to make a melee weapon attack with the blazing blade. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 piercing damage and 1d6 fire damage.

The blazing blade sheds bright light in a 5-foot radius and dim light for an additional 5 feet.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the fire damage increases by 1d6 for every two slot levels above 1st.
