On a failed save, a creature takes 5d6 poison damage and is poisoned for 1 minute. While poisoned in this way, a creature automatically fails Intelligence checks, and has disadvantage on Intelligence saving throws. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and isn't poisoned.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 5th.
