You gather an intense concentration of lightning into your hand. As part of the spell, you can use your remaining movement this turn to charge at a creature in a straight line. Make a melee spell attack against a creature within range. On a hit, you deal 4d10 lightning damage. You also deal an additional 1d6 piercing damage for every 10ft you moved during this spell, up to a maximum of 20 ft.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher level, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 3rd. When you cast this spell using a 5th-level or higher spell slot, the damage based on movement increases to 30ft. When you cast this spell using a 7th-level or higher spell slot, the damage based on movement increases to 40ft. When you cast this spell using a 9th-level spell slot, the damage based on movement increases to 50ft.
