You enchant your hand with magic and touch one dead (within 24 hours) spellcasting creature. 1 pint of its blood surfaces from the creature and forms into a sphere, 1 foot above the touched location. By consuming the blood within 24 hours of casting this spell, you can attempt to learn any spell that the spellcaster knew. Select one spell available to the spell caster; you gain the knowledge of this spell for 24 hours. During this time, you may write it down using the normal rules for copying a spell from another source. Once you have learned it, you may prepare the spell normally. If the spell level is higher than you can cast, you still can record the spell but you cannot prepare it until you can cast spells of its level.
If the spell is not on your spell list, you may record it into your spell book, but you must study it further to make it usable. Whenever you are available you may attempt to study the spell. By consuming 100g of supply's and 6 hours of work (per spell lvl), You can try to create a functioning version of the spell (Int DC 16). If you fail, you must try again (lower DC by 2). If you succeed you may prepare the spell normally.
You do not have to consume the creatures blood immediately. You may store it in an empty container for temporary holding. You must consume it within 24 hours of casting the spell. If the blood is not consumed in time, it blackens and crumbles into ash.
Consuming blood is considered an evil act.
