The caster of this spell either must kneel before the remains (Within 10 - 15 ft of the corpse or remains) or hold an item that was significant to the person in their life and call out the creatures name to call it's spirit across the veil and back into the mortal realm. The spirit will take the form an undead depending on the circumstances of it's death, for example if they were an elf obsessed with their own vanity would become a Banshee, a person who died while lost or traveling would become a Will-o-wisp, and the average person would simply become a ghost...etc. Once summoned the spirit is friendly towards you and your allies until the caster loses concentration or until the caster or their allies become hostile towards the spirit. If the caster loses concentration while the spell is still active the spirit would then begin acting independently and may turn hostile towards the party depending on it's alignment and the situation it finds itself in. Once summoned the caster can ask the spirit 5 questions regarding a topic that it knows and or may have experienced in it's life, the caster can ask the spirit the circumstance of it's death and the spirit can either show the caster how it died or simply tell the caster how it died.
