If this spell successfully hits the target, the spell deals the 1d12 psychic damage instantly and the target's soul becomes corroded, continuing to deal 1d12 psychic damage each round for the spell’s duration. At the start of your turn, you roll the damage dice for each creature you have afflicted with this spell.
