You touch an object which is submerged in water, and all living things within one mile of the object are affected by a severe instant drought. The following effects occur:
- All plant matter in the area withers and dies over the course of 7 days.
- All creatures in the area that are not undead or constructs must make a constitution saving throw at the end of each long rest, or have an ability score reduced by 1, chosen at random by the DM.
- If a plant or creature dies in the area that is not undead or a construct, the remains crumble to dust.
A remove curse spell cast on the source of the curse ends this effect. If the object is removed from the water, the effects fade over the course of the next 7 days, however the item remains cursed.
