Arcane Gag

You snap your fingers and order "Silence" of One creature that can use its voice or play an instrument within 40ft. The target must make a saving throw of your spellcasting DC. On a fail, the target is silenced for up to 1 minute, unable to speak, make a sound with their voice, or play a musical instrument. On a successful save, they are only briefly interrupted, and aware that you cast the spell.

Does not work on those unaffected by charm spells.

For every spell level above 2nd, you may target one additional creature with this spell.
