Wax Mask

A candle melts rapidly in the casters hand while consumed by the enchanting magic. The melted wax is shot at a target that can be seen within range. The caster can decide rather the target is friendly or hostile. On a successful hit, or if the target is willing, the wax quickly places and solidifies onto the targets face, covering it fully. If the targeted creature does not have a face, it is applied to what the caster perceives as a face for the target. The wax mask stays attached to the target until the spell ends, the spell is successfully dispelled or if the target or caster's hit points are reduced to 0. When the mask loses its enchantment, it falls off and then melts away.

If the target is hostile, it takes 4d6 fire damage as the enchanted liquid burns onto the target. Additionally, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw each turn it wears the wax mask and does so with advantage if you or your companions are fighting it. If it fails the saving throw, it is charmed by you until the spell ends or until you or your companions do anything harmful to it. The charmed creature regards you as a comrade in arms. When the spell ends, the creature knows it was charmed by you.  

If the target is friendly, the mask quickly solidifies, doing no damage towards it. Furthermore, the friendly creature's eyesight is enhanced by the mask, gaining a blindsight of 30 feet. While the mask is adorned by the creature, it also gains 2 AC. 

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher, the damages increases by 2d6 for each spell slot above 3rd. At 6th level, you can target an additional creature within range for a maximum of two. At 8th level, the duration of the spell is increased by one minute, for a maximum of two minutes.
