This spell allows someone to gauge the life force remaining in any living creature.

The chosen creature must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against the effect of the spell. On a failure, a floating hourglass filled with blood appears beside the target'’s body. This illusory hourglass is visible to all creatures, including the target, and can be moved about as the caster desires. If the caster ever moves beyond the range of the spell, the hourglass disappears.

While the hourglass is visible, a creature within view is aware of the approximate vitality of the target. This spell does not provide precise HP numbers (such as 79/86), but instead provides an updated percentage, ie. "the creature has 33% HP remaining."

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 2nd.
