Water Breathing: Water Surface Slash

You concentrate your breathing as a razor thin layer of water surrounds your blade. As you strike you leave behind a momentary trail of water. Make a melee spell attack against a target within range. On a hit, the target takes 2d8 cold damage and 1d8 slashing damage. When you score a critical hit with this spell, you can roll two of the damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the slashing damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.
